Heron Lamp

I spotted this in Windermere in a shop that is now sadly gone called Peter Hall & Sons. I was taken by its pure simplicity and elegance, so I had a crack at making one. I chose Yew as it contained some interesting colouring. Not sure I'll use Yew again though as the knots don't smooth very easily.
