Art Box with Star Inlay

This was a delightful project. I was asked to make an Art box to specific dimensions, clearly for pain brushes etc. I went for a Paul Sellers base design made from Sapele wood.

The outer curves were a nice twist, then adding the star inlay was a real treat. One slip of the chisel to a finished piece would have ruined the whole thing. The inlay was made from Panga Panga and Oak.
